When I installed it the printer stated "re-manufactured ink cartridge will default to original settings." (or some similar language). It gave me no choice. When I printed a page even though I chose "draft" it printed the best dark print (upsetting b/c it will use ink faster). Two days later it wouldn't print at all gave me an error message. I turned printer off. When I turned it back on the printer worked. Obviously HP wants you to buy the more expensive "genuine" cartridge.

We have been struggling trying to get our HP63 ink through Staples. We were in dire need so I ordered the TruRed high yield cartridges (1 black 1 color). The color cartridge could not be “read” by two different copiers and the black cartridge gave us a “high yield” of about 30 (normal print) pages!! Don’t waste your time or money.

I had to purchase online since none was available for purchase at the 2 stores that I visited first. I don't understand why I could buy on line with next day delivery and there was no product available for immediate purchase. Delivery was great but what a waste of packaging and time.
