HP Printer did not accept cartridge. False advertIsing to put it forth as replacement.

Have purchased this item three times now and will never again. The only time it worked was the first time. Now I ordered it and on arrival and installing it the printer reads Cartridge Problem. Returned the item for replacment and the replacement one doesn't work. However putting in an HP brand cartridge the printer works fine.
