There is nothing "unusual" about Robert's complaint about the perferations of Select-a-Size not tearing properly. You have done something to the product, probably to make it cheaper to manufacture; and an attempt to tear off pieces results in complete frustration! It WAS a product I had come to like a lot; but I am going to look for other brands next shopping trip. Better not to have a choice of sheet size and have to waste some than be angered and frustrated every time I try to use a Bounty!
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Bounty is an awsome paper towel, the only one I have used in 37 years of marriage, although I dearly miss the autumn prints these past few years. The new Holiday prints I purchased today, and they look great. Please bring back the autumn prints, please!!

I love the convenience of these paper towels - I can choose the size I need. An added benefit is that when I need two small sheets doubled they always fold at the perferation so I don't have uneven edges.

WE USE BOUNTY FOR EVERYTHING AND HAVE TRIED OTHERS BUT NEVER SATIFIED. ALWAYS WENT BACK TO BOUNTY.

Love the product but recently I have experienced trouble getting the towel to tear all the way down. A bit frustrating when you are using the Select-a-Size and you only get about 3/4 of the sheet.

I use Bounty exclusively.
BUT, since the Bounty Whites came out, the stores I frequent no longer carry the prints. :( Perhaps you could make a case that include half prints and half white.
Whites are nice....but boring.
