A great range of colours and the addition of metallics and glitter was great, and I like the idea of being able to remove the sharpener when needed, although the storage space for it, is too small for a box of 24 crayons, and too large for a box of 16, which is annoying because I would like to be able to put my box of colours of the world in that place but it's just not possible, even so it's a very good product, 9/10

Great set but quality control missed ours

I bought this for my artistic 13 year old daughter for a Christmas gift. She loves to draw in her journals daily, and has been on a crayon kick. She loved the set, that it has so many colors and the handy caddy with the sharpener. However, one of the crayons right in front didn't have enough wax to fill the mold, so it looked like a broken crayon. Not a big deal, but it seems like it would have been noticed and pulled since it showed through the packaging window.
I would recommend this to a friend!

This was a gift for my mother for Valentine's day. Because she is a professional artist who's favorite medium is Crayola Crayons I was giddy to give her the new blue color YlnMn blue (bluetiful), the first new color discovered in 200 years! This box, she reported, has several of the same colors, with different names, but NO BLACK and NO WHITE. It's a terrible representation for new artists discovering color, creativity and imagination for the first time. I gave it a three star review because I love crayons. The colors are in no specific order so she had to organize them to test the colors.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

When I bought the crayons with the case my granddaughter was excited to see what blueitful looked like. We were coloring with the older crayons that I kept here for her and we found bluetiful. I am suprised that Crayola advertised it as new.
