They are better quality than most - perfect for everyday use can be washed and reused better quality than most plastic cutlery. Perfect replacement for standard metal utensils (I washed and am still reusing a fork that my toddler uses w/ almost every meal). Sturdy plastic - but packaging doesn`t indicate whether BPA free - that would be nice if they were. Would purchase again.
