The floor mat is ideal for my use. Rolling my office chair from my desk to my computer station is much easier with the chair mat and reduces the wear and tear on the carpet. I would recommend this chair mat to others.

This mat is made of thin plastic. Although it protects your carpet for a short time it quickly breaks leaving plastic shards all under the mat. Not a real big fan. Don't waste your money and buy a more expensive mat that will last more than 2 months.

THE MAT WORKS FOR THE SPACE WE NEEDED IT IN. IS A LOT THINNER THAN THE LAST ONE WE HAD. COULD BE THICKER AND MORE DURABLE. IT DOES STAY IN PLACE ON THE CARPET WELL.

I called Staples before placing my order and asked what the measurement was for the piece that slips under the desk. I was told it was 24" so I ordered the mat. The piece actually measures a bit more than 25". I decided to trim it to 24" to fit under my desk because I liked the rest of the measurements for the chair area. Now I find that the chair rollers have 'dimpled' the mat and there are depressions that catch the rollers. I weigh only 131 lbs. and that should not be excessive weight to form the dips which require a good push to move the chair. My carpet is med. pile.
