Tully's has the best coffee and absolutely the worst K cups. They leak in the brewer leaving grounds in the machine, in your cup and on the counter top.

i lived in new orleans and am very accustomed to bold coffee roasted with chicory, so i love a bold, exciting coffee. this, however, doesn't do it for me. it's got a strange bitter aftertaste which isn't nice at all. if you like a bold, you're better off with something like Sbux Sumatra or Black Tiger.
We do drink Tullys as well as Green Mountain. This coffee sits in my basket. I can't get anyone to drink it. It is very mild and shouldn't be labelled extra bold.
Cons: Thin Or Watery Mouthfeel/Body, Roasted Too Light, Not Enough Flavor, Unpleasant Flavor
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I read the reviews and a few people thought this was better than Tullys French roast. I order and man am i disappointed, This is more acidic and has less flavor.

The last 2 boxes of Itialian Roast had defective K Kups. The foil seal comes loose and water and grounds go everywhere. None of the other flavors I use have this problem.
Cons: Seals break
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Tully K-cup Quality Control Problem
on August 13, 2011

Great flavor, unfortunately serious mfg problem with K-cup seal....specifically, foil adhesive fails during operation >80%, spills grounds, makes a big mess. Contrary to Tully's Customer Service statement noted by a previous reviewer, problem is NOT due to K-cup pressure...in fact, virtually all of the failed cups had flat foil ( not puffed-up), probably indicating an air leak. On inspection, it becomes quickly apparent that Tully is experiencing a mfg QC problem with their foil adhesive, or lay-down process....bad adhesion led to operational failures on virtually all of the box I bought (UPC 81427 00288) Bottomline - one of my favorites, but K-cup quality is so bad, I won't be buying again.
Cons: Bad seal on K-cups
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Good taste, but K Cup explodes

My husband and I are huge Coffee fans and when we came across an Italian Roast, we were sold. The coffee itself tastes wonderful, great flavor and perfect roast. The down side is almost every other K-Cup would explode when I would make my coffee. At first I thought my machine was having issues, but then spoke to my sister who purchased the same Italian Roast and she had the same problem. The coffee would come out the sides, down my coffee cup and spill over all over my countertops, not good. If they could correct the issue with the K-Cup exploding all over the place, then this would be the perfect fit. Until then, I will continue to search for the perfect K-Cup.
I love the flavor, they just can be a mess to make. I took the advice of another reviewer and I load the pod, allowing it to be punctured, open my machine, press the excess air out, then continue on. So it's a total pain (thus the 3 Star and not recommending it) but the coffee is delicious.
