This is our 3rd cartridge and we like it better than the Canon cartridge that came with it! The biggest benefit is IT'S CHEAPER and in our opinion works better!

This was expensive for how few pages it printed before it was low on toner. I've used the Office Depot brand of toner for this printer and expected the Staples brand to be comparable. Besides costing more than the Office Depot cartridge it print far fewer pages than I've gotten out of Office Depot cartridges. I bought two Staples cartridges to do a project that was 900 double-sided pages. By shaking the first cartridges several times I was able to squeeze out enough toner to finish the first 450 pages. Then I put in the 2nd cartridge and again I had to shake it to finish the project.
