This mat is advertised as for a low pile carpet floor but doesn't seem to be any thicker than the standard mat

Despite having a prior carpet protection pad that was guaranteed for life I bought a new pad a Staples as Zi did not have the old receipt. I’m really pleased with my purchase as it’s worth every penny!

The mat is about the same thickness as what I previously had. It tends to indent as I roll across it. I will have to remember to order a thicker mat next time. My last mat eventually cracked and I will be throwing it out. I don't expect much from the new one this review is on. My carpet is a short pile carpet.
