I wish it were a little thicker. I have had one of these before and it doesn't seem to last very long before the middle section starts to crack and break apart rendering the whole thing useless.

Quality appears good for a new mat although it arrived with noticeable and significant large scrapes and surface scratches as it was not packaged or covered in shipping. Chair casters do leave indents but no more than similar mats used in the past. In its new condition this mat seems strong and flexible however it remains to be determined if it will resist drying and cracking after a few years.

The price was right for my temporary office. Delivered as promised. Perfect size. Unfortunately the office chair wheels sink into the mat making moving the chair difficult. This mat would work best on a hard surface floor.

Chair mat ’s basic purpose is to protect carpet from wheels of desk chair. I spend more time readjusting the mat than working at my desk. We have an area rug that covers most of our office/den. The prongs on the bottom of the chair mat evidently do not stop the mat from moving as much as 12-15 inches away from it’s initial position so we simply pretend it’s a play date for my carpet and let the two of them enjoy themselves. Actually it’s rolled up and not in use and I don’t have time to return it at the present so they chair is back on the carpet where it started from.
