I purchased this mat for my home office. The others which I had purchased in the past were too hard and heavy and cracked very easily. I would purchase again from Staples. Thanks VN / Georgia.

This economy mat does what it is intended to do. It grips the carpet and does not move when you move your chair. I use it daily as I run a home based business from my computer. This is my second mat. I read reviews before purchasing the first one. Several people said it only lasts about a year. I found this to be true. After about a year mine started cracking in spots where the chair wheels gave the mat the most traffic. But for the price I bought a second one. I think a year's use is worth the price.

Not what you expect

This is a very disappointing mat it does not support an high back office chair on plush carpet. It does not allow roll-around capability and is too thin in construction to be charged so much for it.

You need to really consider your environment when deciding what thickness to order. I misjudged and picked the medium thickness thinking my carpet wasn't as padres as it apparently is. As a result the mat bends under the combine weight of me & my chair & I weigh about 200 pounds so it may cause the mat to fail early. So carefully consider your situation.

We ordered the mat for our home office. While we are pleased with the mat it took a week for it to uncurl from being squeezed in the shipping box. Be patient - it's worth it.
