Very flimsy. Left chair depressions in the carpet. Moved whenever my chair moved left or right; back or forth. Curls up at the sides. Worst chair mat I've ever used. Will probably throw out and replace with more sturdy one similar to what I've used in the past. You get what you pay for.
Hoe this will be the best chair at. Previous ones normally did not last very long before they cracked / broke to pieces. This seemed to be a good value for the money and it was not folded up. It has a one year guarantee so I'll be curious to see if it indeed lasts that long. If it does it will most definitely be a first.
I've had Staples chair mats in the past and they hold up well. I had wood floors installed in my home office and had to replace the carpet type for this one. Actually had to buy two. They are easily trimmed as well for a more custom install. My only concern is that they tend to slide rather easily on the hardwood. I solved that problem by placing the tower computer on one and part of the desk return on the other. Time will tell how we'll they hold up but if they are like the others I have had I expect they will do fine. And maybe Staples can come up with some way to prevent the sliding issue.
