I bought two of these and Staples shipped them without wrapping so the packaging tape stuck to the plastic. Worse they used a LOT of packaging tape. Leaving canola oil on all night enabled me to get some of the tape residue off but not nearly all. They are still sticky and collect dirt. (Note many solvents that would dissolve the glue residue would also dissolve the plastic).

It's a chair mat and it lays on the floor. It works but the real test will be if it lasts. So far it's made it a week without cracking.

Limited use on tile floors

This mat may be good for hardwood/engineered floors but on tile with 5/8 inch grout spacings between tile (and not level with tile) mat is only partially useful. Chair wheels get stuck in tile spacings. Should have gotten hard laminated mat.

The plastic mat cups under my chair's wheels even though it's thicker than my old mat which lasted 10 years before it cracked.

Not strong enough

This mat looks good and doesn't slip. But the weight of the chair and user will cause the plastic to stretch and form a dimple under each wheel after about 10 minutes of sitting still. So trying to roll out of the dimples is annoying. I'm using a 5 wheeled office chair and weigh 160lbs. So far the dimples are not permanent.

I got a Low pile chair mat from Staples on line at a discount price. It replaces a worn one and is doing well.
