Perfect size for a U-Shaped desk. Seems fairly thick and looks like it will hold up and not crack like other chair mats.

Staples 36 x 48 Flat Pile Chair Mat No Lip

It was delivered earlier than I expected( yea!) and it fits perfectly under my chair and desk. It was hard to find one without the lip in other stores. The man in the store was very helpful in showing me how to order it on the computer.

Chair mat holding up

Bought the cheaper one that I returned to get this thicker more expensive one. Chair still makes dents it but I'm able to roll out of the dent ok. Will see how this holds up. I'm not sure I'm willing to spend more money for the next level up.

Misleading when it says upto 1"

I have my mat on a 1/2" pad and medium pile carpet on top. Total about 3/4" and mat is flimsy. My chair created dips in mat which make it extremely tough for my chair to roll around.

This is a semi-soft chair mat easy to set flat (lay on floor in a warm room for a while if it is curled on arrival). Protects carpet chair rolls fine lip stays down. It does have a bit of a chemical smell on arrival. I left it outside for an hour and then set it up. By the next day there is no odor. I am completely 100% satisfied with this.

can not move chair out of dents

After two weeks of use the chair is getting stuck in the permanent dents the wheels made thus defeating the purpose of the mat. I weigh 220 lbs and have a good office chair
