Overall the mat is durable. The only drawback it is so shiny you can slip if you do not have shoes on.

This chair mat is pretty decent. It is of decent thickness although not the standard thickness of a common office chair mat. However, it was delivered without being rolled up which I really appreciated. And it does slide around a little bit. But, my chair glides very smoothly across it. Overall good purchase and decent price.
