I am running for public office in the current election. I used the envelopes to send political information to voters in my district.I finished the project in record time. I cannot imagine how inconvenient other envelopes would have been.

Verified Purchase:Yes
The Staples self-close envelopes do not stay closed. The glue is not strong enough. They open almost immediately and need to have tape added to make sure they do not open en-route. I would not recommend it.

Huge Mistake!!!

These were a huge mistake. I bought a box of 500 and the strips would not come off easily at all. When you did get them off most of the "gum seal" came off on the strip or your fingers or the strip ripped and was stuck on the envelope. I will never buy this stapes brand product again.
