Sad example of an self sealing envelope

I got a box of 500 envelopes that had very uneven application of the rubber cement like sealant. The pull off strip was wide but the sealing gum was very narrow and partially stuck to the pull off strip instead of the envelope. I felt the envelopes were just barely sealed.

We must have gotten a bad batch not one of these envelopes stays closed have to put tape on it!

I have to put tape across flap to keep it sealed. There is not enough glue or glue is dried up. This defeats my purpose of quick bulk mailing.

Love the self-seal envelopes

I use a lot of white envelopes so I like these. The self-seal makes it easy to mail a lot of envelopes at one time without having to wet them all.
