[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Tazo Zen is one of my absolute favorite green teas. The blend of green tea, lemongrass, and spearmint is so refreshing and calming at the same time. It’s light but still has great flavor, not bitter like some green teas can be. I love drinking it in the afternoon when I want something relaxing but not heavy — it’s like a little reset in a cup. Always crisp, smooth, and super soothing.

The original Zen

I am so disappointed. While this organic Zen taste okay, it is not as wonderful as the original. This one is a spearmint tea and the original was, to me, like fresh cucumber and orange. I would literally drink at least 5-6 cups per day. I would buy 3-4 boxes at a time. The original Zen was the TEA. I stopped buying Tazo tea when Zen was semi-discontinued.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Microplastic Release

Been drinking Zen tea for over 10 years. The new organic Zen doesn’t have the same robust flavor as the original. This was my go to tea when feeling sick as it made me feel better. I did always wonder why when I poured the hot water a white substance was released. Could this be microplastics? My Twining tea bags do not release a substance when steeping. Now I’m concerned about how much microplastic I drank over the last 10 years? It’s always something!
