These are called "Invitation Envelopes" they also hold a regular sheet of 8 1/2" x 11" paper when folded in quarters. I started making home-made cards about a year ago using STAPLES card stock which when folded in quarters also fits the envelope just right. These envelopes are just the perfect size to say "Hello" and brighten someones day. The evelope measures 43/8" x 5 3/4" and 250 in box. The paper quality is excellent and holds up well through the mail. The adhesive used is very good also.

I wish that they were self-adhesive but that would be a whole different price. I use these for all the greeting cards I make and send out. There are better envelopes but probably not at the price I paid. Really you can't go wrong with these. They are fine for most purposes so stock up.
