Spring Meadows scent

This scent is too strong! My whole house has to be aired out after laundry day!
Pros: Price, Satisfaction
Cons: Smell
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Smells so GROSS >> Like FISH

I thought I was losing my mind as I couldn't believe this "Spring Meadow" named detergent smelled so BAD. The PODs smell like FISH and so do my clothes after washing :( Now that I read other reviews saying the same thing, I hope you stopped making it.

We're really sorry to hear you had this experience with our Tide PODS® Laundry Detergent Spring Meadow Scent. It must upsetting that the scent was too different from your expectation and liking.
We understand scent is very subjective, and we appreciate your feedback on the product, but this is definitely not the type of experience we want you to go through.
For a safer Tide PODS alternative, I would advise you to try our Tide PODS Free & Gentle which is formulated for people with sensitive skin, and it is also dye-free and scent-free.
Now, to remove odor:
- Rewash with the hottest water safe for the fabric, using the recommended amount of detergent and fabric softener.
- If item is bleach-safe, use bleach while washing.
- One cup of vinegar can be added to wash, if not bleach safe.
- Be sure to check owner’s manual on how to clean out machine or do service wash on machine.
- The heat from the dryer may help remove excess perfume from clothes, potentially leading to better solutions for consumers concerned about strong garment odors.
