needs to be cheaper then everyone else

the paper cost the same as the printing paper companys. If it was cheaper you might get more people to buy it.

I use this paper for making copies of the daily crossword puzzles for my family and for scratch paper. We go through tons of paper and this is the best quality for the price.

I'm an architect. I make 98% of my drawings on 11 x 17 sheets. My procedure is to make the first drawing on 11 x 17 vellum. Then I make 11 x 17 copies of the base drawing to use for the different construction disciplines: structural HVAC plumbing and electrical. Starting with one drawing I have 5 typically. Since I use drafting pencils in my work I wish that the copy paper had "tooth" equal to that of vellum but the convenience of using common copy bases overrides my irritation with the pencil line work feel.
