No USB cable

I opened the package and put everything together and find out i need to buy an extra cable to connect it to my computer. What do you think i buy this printer for? Power it up and watching? No I need to connect it to my computer to print something. Why can't you just put a USB cable in the package.

I much prefer a heavier paper for most uses however for everyday items I am not keeping for any period of time. the 20lb paper works fine. The price was great.
