I buy one of these from staples every 1 to 1.5 years. They break apart. Supposedly there is a one year mfr warranty. A more expensive 3 year warranty on heavier gauge mat is available; however no one in the store knew anything or had any documentation. It was not in the computer as a clear policy statement. Not up for the glass mat and want to protect the flooring so stuck with a disposable chair mat.

This is a nice sized chair mat for a home office. Clear plastic and durable so far. Does a good job of protecting the carpet and has sharp tips on the down side to keep it in place.
