I got the mat to preserve new carpet in my office. Has worked well for the most part - certainly easier to roll on than the carpet. It does indent a bit and get stuck in certain spots like other reviewers have said. All in all it's fine.

Absolute garbage! Sit a normal rolling office chair on this mat and it sinks leaving large indentations almost to the point of a hole.

The mat material is too light. The castors of the chair leave deep ditches on the chair mat making it difficult to roll the chair back & forth. The ditches take a long time to level off. The item arrived very quickly. This could have been better.
