This mat is apparently only to be used on carpet that is 1/8" thick or less. Our mat was closer to 1/4" thick. From time of purchase till we submitted info for a warranty (less than 3 months) the mat was destroyed with huge cracks everywhere. I do not recommend this mat.

It still bends from being rolled up in the box despite pressing it down for days. My chair is already putting huge dents in it even though I bought a higher pile than I needed. I actually got a better experience from just putting my chair on the planks of wood that I used to press it down.
