Relatively useless for protection

We took it up almost immediately. We have very expensive new hardwood floors and we could see that would scratch it. We are getting a rug and the appropriate mat.

It lasts about 3-4 years. This is my second one. Decent price compared to name brand ones. Glad they offer a cheaper "staples" brand

Would like harder material

I wanted an economy mat so I thought that I would try this one. I would like it better if it was a harder material that is easier to roll over.

This chairmat is used weekdays and holds up well for it's heavy use. It doesn't get noticed which is how this type of product should work! We always buy them again when they eventually wear out but it takes a long time!

Even on a flat pile office carpet this mat was too soft. Dents would form where my chair had sat even if I wasn't sitting in it at the time. I chose to exchange this for a firmer better quality and slightly larger version.
