Just right for my floor

Product used in home office over hardwood floor. Only downside is that my chair's rollers can move too easily over surface of mat which could result in a fall.

Not worth the price too thin!

I'm thinking that Staples may have shipped the wrong thickness mat to me. I'll have to get my digital calipers out to check but it seems a lot thinner than .130 ...... More like .85 by the looks of it unless they count the small pegs as part of the thickness. If this is the case I'll be getting in touch with them really soon!

Didn't last long

I purchased this more expensive chair mat ~18mos ago hoping it would last longer than the cheap one but it started getting grooves & cracks fairly soon. My carpeting is not that thick but I still have to replace the mat much sooner than expected so I'll go back to the cheaper one. It's not worth the extra $$$ (+I cut my foot on one of the cracks!)

This chairmat protects the carpet from my rolling computer chair but last no more than 2 or 3 years before it cracks apart.
