It does get dents but I believe it is significantly better than the cheaper mats.

It's too soon to tell how they will last but I knew they weren't the highest quality so I didn't expect a lot. For my craft room they should be ok although getting them flattened enough is seeming impossible. Tried heat heavy items etc. and still very contorted. They seem like they might wear grooves in them pretty easily but I have only used them a few days. Thickness is probably the issue and buying the next priced up mats would be advisable if you want them to last.

Poor quality product!

I have purchased 2 of these in the last 3 years. One began to crack and turn brittle within 6 months. The other is about 2 years old and has to be replaced because it has pretty much disintegrated. I would not recommend this. In particularr don't use any kind of commercial cleaner on it as it will turn brittle and deteroriate faster.
