Worked perfectly for what we need

Does what it says it would. I have a high-pile carpet and we already had to take everything out once because the carpet moved. Now I bought the chairmat and tucked it under the desk to make sure that the carpet doesn't move when the chair moves back and forth the carpet stays in place. Like I said it does the job it is supposed to do.

Quite thin and flimsy. Mat already has indentations from the chair rollers and I weigh 120 lbs. Do not figure it will last long.

To thin chair wheels make indentations and then have a hard time moving out of indentations easily.

High Pile Carpet Chair Mat Rectangular 46 x 60

This mat is about 1/2 as thick as one I purchased from Staples about 10 years ago. That one was "High Pile" as well. I'm hoping the new one will provide similar service. We'll see!

The chair mat we bought at staples is great. It is soft and pliable and durable. We haven't had it long so will see how it does long term.

The mat looked very similar to the cheaper one I usually replace yearly. Time will tell if this map wears much better.

My carpet is not really

My carpet is not really what I would call a high pile one but a med. one as it is not the best quality of carpeting. I was looking for a mat that had a bigger lip than the #29.00 one as the wheels of my chair dug into the mat. This mat that I purchased I will say the wheels of the chair does not dig into the mat itself but it does slide as the bottom spikes are not long enough to hold it straight. Like I said my carpet is not a high pile one but medium with padding underneath it. I cannot afford to pay more for the mat than I already have to me it was too expensive to others it would be nothing but being on a budget makes a difference. Over all it is a good mat but disappointed that it slips on the carpet.

My carpet isn't flat but has a pile and works fine. The clear vinyl looks better than the opaque ones I have had for 3 years.
