They don’t show up on the supply level page on the printer page. So you have no idea how much ink is left. Would never have bought them had I known that.

It is a little less expensive to get the Staples refilled cartridges but you are taking a chance that it will get to you without leaking. I have had two of these end up arriving with a major mess inside the packaging. So figure the options and how much you are saving.

just as good as brand name

Although I have never actually compared these to Canon cartridges in terms of number of copies they seem to last a long time. I've been using them for as long as I have had a Canon printer 10 years and have never had a problem. One thing I've noticed is that they do not need to be replaced when the low ink warning comes up on the screen. If you ignore it you can continue to make A LOT of copies and when the ink has really run out it will just stop printing. These cartridges are not a lot cheaper than brand name but my printer uses 5 separate cartridges and over the years it adds up.

We go through the genuine Canon cartridges fast enough but for an ink cartridge to last less than a week is just terrible.

unfortunately the refurbished cartridges had issues it printed once and then after that did not print. will no longer be buying refurbished ink cartridges; do not recommend them!!
