Functional Envelopes

Always have used this envelope style which is much better than the triangular seal flap design both in functionality and in paper. I print with them in laser printer all the time but I am careful about heat of burner and immediately catch and open with fingers the flap in case it should tend to melt shut at points. I never have had the glue melt shut when I take this precaution. I do not have a faster newer printer so I do not know how those machines would affect this process. I do know that alternative flimsy envelopes would not tolerate laser printer at all. Other big advantage is fact that the beviled flap is a lot easier to lick than the triangular style. Staples should inventory these envelopes in stores but I have not found them in my local stores. I bet a lot of customers do not know these envelopes exist and would gladly pay a bit more to get them.

Don't Use in Printer

I was very disappointed with this envelope. I purchased is specifically because it said it would not seal during printing...but every single one had to be unsealed and it makes the finished envelope look "used" and very un-professional. I will not purchase this item again.

These envelopes are a good quality envelope but if you try to print on them in a Laser Printer they will seal themselves and so are rendered unusable.

Definately does the job!

I am always in need of envelopes for my business - I try to find the best quality at the lowest price without going to a sub standard quality. Staples brand envelopes are a good bargain when compared to brand names - definately hold up their end of the bargain and get the job done! Unless you want a security style or a self sticking seal - this is the best way to go!

Needs Fixing

After going thru copier/printer this envelope comes out with multi creases. In addition and most annoying the flap to seal the envelope shut is almost glued shut. I have to be very careful in opening the flap so that I can insert the docs that I am mailing. WILL NOT PURCHASE THIS ENVELOPE AGAIN.
