Confusing fill levels on cap

Great detergent, gleans well and leaves a nice scent. Like pretty much every manufacturer, Henkel provides a cap that is about three times larger than the recommended dosage. The instruction says "fill cap to level 1", but try to see that marker in the cap. After rinsing the cap and holding it against sunlight, I detect levels A,B,C,D,E, and Level 0, 1, 2. Your only chance of correct dosage is to take a permanent marker and emphasise this level, which turns out to be about 1/3 of the cap. Do your wallet, your health, and our environment a favour and do not overdose - 1/3 of the cap is all that is needed for a regular loa.

This is not a senior, or for that matter, a consumer friendly product. I should be able to see the marks on cap. Nor is there guidance on the bottle or the website as to amount to use, previous Purex products used were clear on this issue. It seems obvious knowledge as to how to use the product properly is not a priority at your company.

I started using Purex a couple of years ago after my mother's suggested. I was hesitant at first, I have 3 very messy kids and never had much luck with so called "bargain" brands. To my surprise Purex worked fantastic!! The clothes were cleaner than ever and smelled great. It's the only laundry detergent you'll find in our house. We just recently tried the new Purex Crystals and woah...I dont think I've ever smelled any fabric softener this good before. That wonderful smell last so long...I even had someone ask me what kind of perfume I was wearing! She was very surprised when I told her it was Purex. I just love, love, love your products!

Can't see the cap markings

I needed a penlight and magnifiers to see the markings in the cup. I believe this is intentional to get people to use more product which is wasteful and environmentally unfriendly. I bought a small glass measuring cup and fill to 40ml for a normal load.

I've used this product for years and recently the smell has changed. Will have to look for another detergent. My family and I can't stand this new smell. So sad...

I Have Used all the high priced detergents.Purex is a very thick & Great Detergent.Its Thicker than all the others i have used. Im very picky when it comes to what i use to do my laundry with. The rest i have used is like using watered down product. PUREX works Great on everything i wash.It only takes 1 Capful to do a full load.When i used others i always was adding a cap at a time until it looked right.Thats wasteful,I Like a Product To Do What It Says Its Going To Do. PUREX Will Do All Its Suppost To and it smells Great For A Long Time.. Thanks Purex For A Great Product That Is Very Affordable!!

Regular Purex liquid detergent

Excellent product. Would buy again. Only suggestion is to say on each bottle what it already is: "Safe for septic tanks." Millions of us have septic tanks, and the wrong detergent formula with bleach could lead to a $15,000 repair bill. Your formula with added Clorox is OK with city sewers, but not for the boonies.
