Sometimes Newer is Just Newer (…and Not Better)

Bounty was one of the few brands our household *never* compromised on, even during soaring inflation costs. It’s also the brand I brought to my workplace—a public library—for the most delicate to messy cleaning tasks. While my commitment to the product—despite the price—has remained unwavering, the company appears to have fallen for gimmicks and inferior materials. The “web-like” texture is scratchy, stiff, and not as absorbent as its classic weave, and the sheets are thinner and do not hold up as they have in the past. This is the first time I have ever researched a standard “household supply” to post a review, and I do so to let other consumers know that, “Yes; something has changed about that terrific roll of Bounty you used to reach for,” and “No; you’re not alone in your experience.” Procter & Gamble…do better. Fix this. Sometimes newer is just newer…and you’ve messed with a classic.

Huge Drop in Quality

What happened bounty? The paper towels are now thin cheap garbage for the highest price on the market. Who thought this was a good idea? Your brand reputation will be ruined because of this. I might as well buy sparkle for this poor quality and save some money. Shameful money grab. Let me guess, you’re going to bring back the old style paper towels and make a big fuss about it to make even more money?

I am very disappointed with the “new” and “upgraded” Bounty Towels. Have been using this brand for more than 20 years. Once I’m done with the current package, I will definitely be buying something different.
If this change was meant to be an improvement, you need to go back to the drawing board.

Inferior product & lesser amount

Just purchased the double roll pack and was so surprised to see the size of the roll, absolutely not as big as the single roll. Never thought I'd say this, but no more Bounty in my house. You are cheating the people that keep you in business.

I can't keep track of these sizes..

To preface, Bounty is my paper towel of choice. Hands down one of the best, most absorbent products on the market. The problem I'm having is understanding the size differences and accessibility to larger rolls. For comparison on your site, you list roll sizes: Regular, Double, Triple, Triple Plus, and Mega
However I've seen additional rolls in-store and online (including your drop down menu after clicking "Buy Now") such as: Huge, Family, Double Plus, "Enourmous", Advanced Plus?
What are the actual differences? I find myself aimlessly purchasing randomized sizes based on what's available in my local grocery store vs having an actual understanding of what it is I'm purchasing. I wouldn't have thought I needed an algebraic formula to figure this out. I'd appreciate a little more transparency regarding your product sizes, but appreciate the consistency of the product itself. Thanks!

Only finding triple rolls and larger

I always buy the double rolls of select-a-size paper towels. For the past few weeks I can only find triple rolls and larger. Why? Triple rolls ard too large for paper tiwrl holders!

Feels rough and cheap now

Bounty has changed the select a size to feel rough and cheap. I pay more for bounty because of the quality. Now that they feel like a cheap brand I may as well start purchasing the cheap brand. Not pleased with this change.
