Purchased this last month and placed on top of what I consider 'normal' residential carpet (non-berber carpet). This chair mat is not thick enough plastic to support my office chair. After just a few minutes of sitting the chair's wheels create 'divots' in the plastic mat and after a few hours creates a memory of where my chair was. Spend the extra $ and get a thicker mat if you are going to place on top of non-berber (low profile) carpet.

For the price and that I’m not going to be using it every day permanently it’ll do. But do believe the reviews that it dimples immediately. And so far the dimples don’t go away overnight after you move your chair off of it. Wish I’d have believed the reviews and spent more for a good mat.

I bought it in person and really like the price but it was too flimsy for the carpet. My chair and weight made big indents into the mat and hard to roll my chair around. It would flatten on its own. If I didn't have carpet. It would probably work better. I returned it.

The chair mat I bought is not nearly as durable as I would have thought. My chair is making indents in the material very easily and quickly. I hope it lasts as long as the last one I had (about 10 years).

Came without packaging and has a black scuff on the back. Weak mat already has chair wheel dents in it. Would not recommend.
