Plastic is not firm enough to support the chair on a carpeted floor! . Creates indintations from the chair wheels causing it hard to move. Don't use this mat on a carpeted floor.

I needed a chair mat for my at home office and Staples had the size I needed. The mat was high quality and just right for my desk space. I think it will last a while. With the 1 hour pick up option and the “I’m on my way feature” it was SO EASY that my elderly parents were able to pick it up for me! My dad just pulled up showed the order number to the associate and the chair mat was immediately loaded into their vehicle - DONE! I only wish that Staples sold groceries and prescriptions too 🙂
