I would not buy this product again.

This mat did not hold up for even a year. It started cracking after about 8 months.

This is my 2nd one first one last about 5years before it cracked and needed to be replaced. Not bad for the price though in my opinion. Wouldn't expect it to be indestructable. I spend hours each day on the computer sitting on this protective floor mat.

Chair Mat Not for Professional Use

Product is used in an office with low pile carpet. Product cracks after a month of use molds to the canisters of the chairs which causes problems rolling fowards and backwards and is not as thick as discribed.

The slightly raised edge can be a tripping hazard. A "stiff" mat would be better.

If you like the smell of plastic...

This product contains PVC and gives off a noxious odor. Get a better quality product that won't discolor over time like poly carbonate.

I have only had the mat for a month or so but I like it really well. It is not as huge as my last mat so it's easier to move when I vaccum and the cost was much much lower than my huge mat which was much heavier and much bulkier to move when I used the sweeper. It seems to be holding up well even though I am at the computer several hours each day.
