It was so thin I could not believe it. Thinner than what I needed to replace. It's so thin I just put it over the old broken one so maybe it will last a year. This is not good though because the underneath spikes make it slide ove old one. Sorry I bought this. Don't know what the manufacturer was thinking specificing this for plush carpet.

Staples plush chairmat

This "plush" chairmat for carpets is definitely an improvement over the standard mat. But that is not saying much since the standard mat was awful & quickly broke down under the chair rollers. The difference is that this plush mat has its support pins spaced exactly 2.0 cm apart whereas the standard mat has its support pins spaced exactly 3.0 cm apart. This closer spacing does provide a great deal more support & hopefully this plush mat will last longer than did the standard one - which broke apart within 2 years of home use. Only time will tell.

Works just fine protecting the carpet underneath. Would probably roll better on harder mat but this one's fine.
