As I added under "cons" If chair has small wheels mat will crack over time. This is the 3rd mat I've purchased due to this. Larger wider wheels would negate the situation so the problem is not necessarily with the mat!

My office has laminated flooring partially covered with a rug. The chair rolls easely over both.

Poor quality at best

The stick on tags that came on these were super glued on! Took me a lot of time to soak in 409 and scape them off! These things are very thin and cheap. Half of my staff wont use them and I bought them better ones locally. The wheels on the chairs sink into the plastic making it hard to move about.

I don't know whether this new mat is the same as the old one that cracked vertically in many places. I assume the plastic became brittle with age.

I have had many chair mats through out the years. This one is finally everything I expect and more. The size is perfect and the thickness and crack resistance is the best. I would recommend this chair mat to all my business colleagues.

great floor protection!

This mat is excellent in protecting my hardwood floor. It does not slide and has a slightly textured surface. The mat is so transparent that at certain angles it is almost invisible which allows the beautiful hardwood finish to be seen.[...] Much less expensive than the in-store mat and way less than at other retail business supply stores (am I allowed to say [...]?) or online. [...] was twice the price.

Smaller size is preferable for a home office. The other two models available at Staples may be great for a commercial business office but the smaller one is perfect for my smaller home office.

Not a Good Valvue

I use this mat to go under my computer chair so the rolling back & forth on the carpet will ruin the carpet. This is the third one I have brought in the last 3 years and they just do not last the start cracking in the center and the hole gets bigger and bigger and pieces start falling off the mat. Should be more pliable.
