Gripping not adequate

The grip points are bevelled and therefore do not maintain adequate grip on the floor. As the chair moves around so does the mat. Also the plastic used could be a bit thicker. Returned this mat and bought a different brand which works better.

Seems a bit flimsy so not sure how long it will last but the price was right and replacing it at that price after a couple years would not seem to be a problem.

smells terrible

this chair mat smells awfull even after one night with an open window you can smell the chemicals coming out of that thing. Most likely it´s made out of PVC containing phthalate plasticizers which are unhealthy. I will return it...

A mat that is short on thickness

i would have been willing to pay more money for a thicker mat. I know this one will last only for a few years. I suggest a thicker mat that will last a minimum of five (5) years with normal wear & tear.

It doesn't have a solid lay so the chair doesn't roll over smoothly.
