Durable No Creeping

This mat is flexible enough to be moved into place easily and is easy on the feet. On the other hand it's firm enough to be a good surface under my chair even over very plush carpet. (Carpet with double pads underneath.)

Not suitable for the home office

Advertized for high pile carpet but totally unsuitable for my home office that has 1/2" pile carpet plus underpad. The chair wheels create craters in the mat that the chair persists in rolling back into when you try to move the chair a small distance. I purchased another pad from another store that is much heavier but still craters under the wheels but to a lesser degree. I use a standard 5 wheel office chair and I weigh in at 170 lbs.

Great Mat for the Price

Slid on carpeted floor during first few days but has stayed in place since. Makes more sense to buy this and replace a little sooner than the expensive mats. Kept my last mat for 10 years; plan to do the same with this one!

Where's the long-term reliability?

I thought it would be thicker and not as pliable when chairs roll over the surface...it appears to be too flexible and over time it will crack at points of continued use (rolling a chair on top of it for approx. 8 hrs. per day)
