Just wanted to mention that the problem of removing the labels which is mentioned in the reviews for just about every chair mat I looked at seems to have been fixed now (July 2014). We ordered 2 and both labels came off easily. Seems like Staples at least paid attention to the comments. As far as this particular product we are pleased. It seems sturdy and of appropriate thickness/strength. It arrived flat. The little cleats on the down side that keep it from moving around on our previous model were sharp and murderous - very hard to handle the mat without getting numerous stabby pokes. On this particular model the cleats are less sharp and it was easy to wrestle the mat to its destination without personal injury. Much appreciated!
This product was a winner for me. It was on sale. Plus I had a coupon for five dollars off if I spent enough. I did. The acquisition was smooth. They hang on a rack. Easy off the rack and onto the cart. Didn't have to take the mat out of the cart to pay. The mat fit in the back of my wagon with just a bit of coaxing. Was able to get the hatch back to close. Hardly noticed it was back there on the way home. Easy to slide out of the wagon. Challenging to take up stairs. Risked life but it had to be done. Manufacturer's big label peeled of easily. No tares no tears. Used the mat as work space while assembling chair--I have a few chair parts left over. Hope I didn't miss a connection. Mat fit perfectly over rug and under desk. Rolled completed chair onto new Staples mat and had first sit. Very satisfying. Got the clear one. Hardly notice it's there. The rug embraced it immediately. Five wheel chair glides over it easily. What else could any one want in a mat?
