Carpet Chair Mat

Very hard plasic tends to get brittle crack and break into shards after about a year of chair wheel wear with 160 lb. user. Would probably wear longer if it were made of a slightly softer plastic. It's the only one carried so this is it if you need a chair mat but expect to have to replace it after about a year.

Mats were just what I wanted however the delivery is now very bad. They said they were delivered when they were not and I had to call and get them shipped again. It took almost 2 weeks for delivery. Staples used to have excellent delivery however not so much now.

I certainly am moving easier than with out it - yet my chair sinks into the plastic and still makes it difficult to move freely. I am not a heavy weight either - scale in at 185

We purchased this floor mat for our computer chair that was chipping away at our floor when it rolling back and fourth. We use this floor mat on our uneven hard wood surface now and it works great. It is holding up well and doing the job we purchased it to do. Plus the price was one of the most reasonable out there. I am happy with this purchase.

Uselss carpet chair mat

I purchased this mat to replace another which had lasted for over 25 years until it began to crack and I could not roll my chair over it with ease. The new mat which was placed on LOW pile carpet does not serve its intended purpose at all! It is half as thick as my old mat and the grippers (teeth?) on the underside do not hold the mat in place at all. Each time that I use the chair the mat moves away from my desk and it (because of its thinness) makes it extremely difficult to roll the chair with any kind of ease. If you want a leg workout then this mat could prove useful but not for what it was intended i.e. easy motility while sitting at your desk.
