A goo price (although $6 more in the store) but it's obvious they cut corners to make the price point. Only 24# paper which is just barely heavy enough for an envelope the flap is only 1 1/8" wide down from 1 3/4" on other envelopes. Skimped on the glue too - a half inch wide strip with a gap in the middle. And they skimped on the size too not 6" wide but 5 15/16" wide. I'd rather pay a little more for an envelope more like what they made in the old days. Price isn't everything. You know you get what you pay for but in this case you don't get much.

With threats from both Covid and the flu moistened adhesion is not the way to go. Peel strips are the only answer through 2021. And I wish the flap were on the long side rather than at the end.

OK but the glue strip is to short leaves edges capable of being easily caught and torn open by USPS.
