Triple savings

These envelopes save money three ways over the 6 x 9 manila envelopes I had been using for mailing promotional materials. 1) They cost a little less. 2) They weigh a little less which in my case gets my mailings down one ounce. 3) I can run them through my laser printer and print the to and from addresses right on the envelope instead of printing on labels. My printer creases the envelope a little on its way through; not a major problem as it will probably sustain more abuse than that on its way through the postal system anyway.

Nice quality but needs self-adhesive

These are very nice envelopes but would have preferred to have self-adhesive strips. I don't like licking the envelopes and the mailing sponges often leave too much water which causes the envelope lip to pucker.

Just what I needed

We use these for trip sheets and for keeping receipts in for our business. We also use them for bulky mailings and turning freight bills in. I also use them to store tax receipts at the end of the year. Purchasing them like this really saves me money. These are my go to envelopes and prove invaluable when storing business receipts for different purposes; since they easily fit in a folder and can be paper-clipped to pay sheets all of our various records and receipts stay in one convenient location.

Mailing envelopes

I had a mailing of 4 8x11 pages that were folded in half. The envelopes were easily opened and the insertion went without any problems. The address labels were preprinted on sticky lables and were placed on the envelope again without effort. The return address was made with a pre-inked stamp and the address did not smear or run. I used glue sticks to seal the envelope and this also went on without any problem or effort. The envelope is light weight but sturdy and went through the mailing system without any problem arising.
