They were definitely economy. Not very good at all. On the backside seam of the envelope many of them were split open. Had to use tape on some. The gummed area to close the envelope had to be reinforced on many of them. Won't be buying these again.

We use these envelopes to mail our newsletters plus inserts.
We use these envelope as communication envelopes for our teachers and parents. It is a great size for documents that need to be retained but not take up a great deal of space

These envelopes are a convenient size for me to use in my business. I can print them with the information that I need in my trucking business. I can keep all my receipts any paperwork associated with the trip that I am on notes for the book keeper rebate forms proof of purchases and so much more. And I use them to send reports notes and other items to my lease.

Light weight but effective

I did not know it ahead of time but the 6 x 9 size was just under the size the post office uses to up the postage rate. Since I was using these to send out hundreds of newsletters for a non profit historical society this saved us a considerable amount of money. I happened to have 1 brown envelope of a very slightly larger size and it cost considerably more to mail. I would suggest that the label on the box indicate that the size of these meets the requirement for the lower postal rate. While they are quite light weight this allows the contents to be a bit heavier.
