Such an easily overlooked item can be a big big help. I have been assembling notebooks and use these to keep them closed and in order. They also help if you want to secure boxes without necessarily using tape. They are heavy and not easily stretched to the breaking point. I would recommend them.

We rescued some bees from the barn and use these rubber bands to hold sections of barn hive into frames in their box Hive until they were able to glue it all into their frames to make their new home. Rubber bands held the comb into place.
