these are not good bands- they are stiff - the SMELL - they break easily -- I tried them because of promo pricing - never again -the name brand bands are so much better- these will be in the trash very quickly

Many many uses!

These large rubberbands are so useful! Once you have a pack in your home or office you will discover so many ways to use them. At home they are great for stopping trash can liners from falling into the cans or baskets. I use two bands to secure the lids on my crockpots to store or transport. I put one band over the lid handle of my crock pot and loop it over the crockpot handle. I use two one going each direction. I have given these to all my friends that bring crockpots to parties and they can't believe what a handy idea it is! At the office they are indispensable for keeping stacks of file folders together!

Easy substitution!

I used it for waste basket band to hold liners in & it is very effective. I couldn't find the traditional waste can bands in the usual stores until I walked into Staples & asked one of the staff. They had larger rubber bands in thicker density that would work just as well as round bungee cord types. The rubber bands came in packages of 24 multiple colors & the price was reasonable compared to the more expensive bungee cord ones. I would buy those again if need be it served its purpose for what I need it for & I'm sure it can be useful for many other things as well.

The big rubber bands are terrific - larger than the office type of rubber band and smaller than the very large ones which are used to hold trash can liners. I use them in many ways in the household and in the studio. I like the bright colors which can be useful for finding objects that have been stowed away.Until I bought these I had not seen this size.
