These rubber band's really did the trick...my daughter used them in her physics project which was building a catapult with a trigger mechanism and these rubber band's produced enough force to knock the cans completely off their platform...not just knock them over. :) I do not know if "force" is the correct physics term but they really did a spectacular job! :)
These are excellent tools to keep files bound and yet available. Staples is the only place I was able to find subject item and I was thrilled when I found them. Regular rubber bands just don't do the job.
And I am an expert. These are the perfect size and are flexible enough to wrap and double wrap.i find them to be the perfect size for manuscripts. I also like being able to grade and identify things with Color: draft 1 draft 3 Etc. My husband and I use them to close up the 7-day Boxes we use for vitamins and supplements and different colors keeps them separate. Kids like to make Rubbermaid balls out of them. They bounce beautifully without making Marks on the wall. Most of all they are sturdy and don't dry out and break like traditional bands.i have a friend who also loves them and is hoping they come out in culinary silicon--they would be great for trussing chickensno recommend them without reservation.
These are very handy to have available. I always put a few in my travel bag for odd jobs that come up. I keep some in the kitchen to use on packages that won't close with a twisty or a bag clamp. I have found a use for these band in every room of the house.
