I love that this is a sustainable product! Normally with sustainable notebooks the paper is thin rips easily and bleeds BUT NOT THIS ONE! The paper isn’t see-through at all and doesn’t bleed even when I use permanent markers. This product is phenomenal and makes me feel good about using it!!

I have ordered the Sustainable Earth Notebooks for many years and I have loved using them. These are not anything like the quality that they were before. One of the ones that I received the paper does not fold over the spiral part well at all. The cover design is very ugly compared to what it was in the past. As someone who is chemically sensitive it is easy to tell that they are not nearly as eco-friendly as they were before. I guess I will have to come up with something else!

Great notebooks made from sugar cane production leftovers. It’s really frustrating that Staples doesn’t have a single sustainable notebook in-store and you have to special order them.

The sustainability of the materials and the quality of the paper and cover and binding is excellent. These are my first choice in a notebook I’ve been using them for years and am sorry this product have been phased out in the Staples stores. It was really convenient for me when I could pick them up at a Staples store rather than order on line and I wonder how much longer they will be available on line.

I use these sturdy notebooks to keep permanent records for my consulting business. The covers are stiff supportive and easy to write on. The sturdy spring binders are large enough to acommodate printed matter taped to numerous pages in the notebook. The lines on the paper are light enough to not distract from technical sketches. I wouldn't use any other notebook after trying these.
