I have not been able to find a notebook that I liked for my classes and that has also been able to be used in a professional setting. I abuse the folders in the front of the notebook and they have not seperated from the spiral binding or split from the overuse. This is the first notebook that has lasted me an entire semester without problems. I strongly recommend the use of this notebook for school and especially in a college setting when you're carrying your books and notebooks everywhere with you.

i am a fountain pen freak. my life revolves around them. ive been searching for some really nice paper for my waterman and i read about this and went to staples the folowing day. OMG! pure writing heaven! this paper is so smooth!

I used to use only EcoNotes but I found these at Staples and like the covers more. I wish it came in a 5 subject which would be more convenient and also more eco-friendly. The are comparable to EcoNotes and of better quality than regular paper only notebooks. The front and back covers are hard not flimsy so they are easy to write in even if you don't have a table or desk. They have 2 pockets at the front which is not usually found in notebooks without plastic like the 5Stars. For children or those who like to decorate for their subjects these are awesome because if you get the plain cover (or any) the surface is excellent for writing and decor with pens markers crayons etc. I've been using these for about 6 months now and I am very satisfied and only wish it came in a 3 or 5 subject.
